  In accordance with the policy of promoting Public-Private-Partnership, Institute Management Committees (IMC) was constituted in ITI in the year of 2008. The Chairman of the IMC is from private industry and another four members are from private industries-who are taking keen interest in the training of the students. Significant autonomy has been given to the Institute Management Committees including their role in selection of trainees, purchase of Tools-equipments, Machinery, Furniture.

Accordingly this scheme we have got 2.5 crore interest free loan from central govt. so as per the above scheme a partnership has been done with Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd, Ahmedabad. Which was established in 1981 for manufacturing small and medium range Transformers, currently the capacity is to design, manufacture and test transformers upto 200 MVA, 245KV class and export to over 25 countries include Canada, U.K., South Africa and some leading Asian and African markets.

Roles and Responsibilities of IMC
• Generation of revenue through various means such as projects and financial contribution
   from industry including donation of equipment and using of such funds/ equipment as
   decided by them
• Forecasting of new emerging training areas
• Development of curriculum
• Selection of trainees
• Training of faculty
• Appointment of Contract faculty/Guest faculty
• Facilitating on the job training to the trainees
• Testing and certification; and,
• Facilitating placement of passing out trainees.
